What is Hypnotherapy?

What is referred to as the hypnosis ‘trance’ state is nothing unusual. It is the state we go into many times a day. Daydreaming; being engrossed in a book; that floating, drifting state just before falling asleep, or just before becoming fully awake; these are all natural trance states.

When the body is in this state of relaxation, the conscious mind stills and the subconscious mind can be accessed. This is our control centre, where beliefs and experiences are stored. Accessing and working with the subconscious mind can bring about fast and positive changes.

The wonderful thing about the subconscious mind is that it will always look after you. It will naturally reject anything that is contrary to your core beliefs. You are always in control.
